Reginald Nii Odoi speaks at Ignite Youth Ghana (IY-G) Future Workshop – 2020

This past week, the President and Founder of The Good Shepherd Love Foundation, Reginald Nii Odoi, had the privilege once again to spend time with and speak to members of the Ignite Youth Ghana (IY-G).

This was during the IY-G Future Workshop held on Saturday 29th February, 2020 at the Rising Sun Montessori School at Dome in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana.

The event, as expected, saw a lot of enthusiastic youth attending to learn a lot as well as to interact and share ideas.

At this Workshop, our Founder shared on the topic; “Talent is not enough”. He in summary admonished that in order to make long lasting impact that would go a long way to benefit many people, the youth ought to add to their talent the qualities and values of a humble servant leader.

Reginald Nii Odoi stressed on what it meant to act as a “real servant”. In this, he emphasized that real servants always make themselves available to serve.

He further added that real servants pay active attention to the needs of others and in doing so, carry out all tasks with equal dedication.

He concluded by talking about the importance of being faithful to one’s call and being ready to keep a low profile as a servant leader.

It was a great learning experience for all who attended.

Founder of Ignite Youth Ghana (IY-G), Mr. Michael Nana Osei Gyasi expressed his profound gratitude, on behalf of IY-G, to our Founder for sharing his thoughts with the group.

There was also an extensive open session of the topic where all members had an opportunity to comment on what the speaker had shared as well as to brainstorm other ideas.

It was indeed a very wonderful time with IY-G and we look forward to great times ahead.
