TGSLF news: Reginald Nii Odoi judges at UPSA & Central University Faculty of Law Moot Court Competition

The President & Founder of the Good Shepherd Love Foundation, Reginald Nii Odoi, had the privilege to serve as a Judge of the UPSA & Central University Faculty of Law Moot Court Competition.

The event which was held on Thursday 25th October, 2019 at the UPSA Campus, was a competition between two law faculties namely, the UPSA Faculty of Law and the Central University Faculty of Law.

The event saw the Faculty of Law for the Central University College coming out as overall winners. Several other individual awards were also won by members of both schools.

Reginald Nii Odoi, our Founder, who is himself a lawyer and has keen interest in such activities was very glad for the opportunity to serve as one of the Judges that oversaw the competition.

The Competition which is a mock trial on hypothetical facts relating to a particular area of law, in this case international human rights law, saw the students arguing very well whilst applying the legal principals to the facts of the case presented.

Our Founder afterward encouraged the students to keep up the hard-work and expressed his satisfaction and admiration at the level of advocacy, display of legal knowledge and appreciation of the facts by the participants. The students’ were encouraged to keep giving their all in the academic studies as well as their extra-curricular activities.
