Samuel Nkansah mentors student leaders on purposeful and strategic leadership

Samuel K. Nkansah this past week, on Saturday 13th April, 2019 at the Labone Senior High School in Ghana, was privileged to speak to the newly elected Local Executives and students of the Greater Accra Regional SRC (GARSRC), from over thirty institutions in the country.

Samuel Nkansah who is one of the leaders of the Good Shepherd Love Foundation spoke to the student leaders on Visionary, Purposeful and Strategic leadership.

Among many other things, he stated that “strategy (to achieve set goals) is better than energy. And accordingly, the new crop of leaders must add to their drive and energy, carefully laid out strategies and goals in order to make impact”.

He also admonished the students on the “Love Factor” and encouraged them as leaders to cultivate the character of love as it is a major tool for successful leadership even though talked about less often.

Indeed it was a very nostalgic moment for him as Mr. Nkansah previously worked as the Regional Administrator/Coordinator for the GARSRC. He expressed confidence and optimism that with this kind of mindset, the new crop of leaders will grow to become Transformational Leaders, not only for and in their schools, but the nation at large.

The Good Shepherd Love Foundation is a non-governmental organization that is passionate about mentorship and leadership of the younger generation amongst other things.
